Author of Super Shane’s Alphabet Adventure, Vanessa Lashawn Hall along with her son Shane set out to create a story of a whimsical voyage of a young boy on quest to conquer the understanding of all 26 letters of the alphabet. Vanessa wanted to come up with a fun and creative way of learning letters, letter sounds and phonemic awareness. Let’s face it learning can be a challenging but can also be a fun experience at the same time.

              In Super Shane’s Alphabet Adventure, along with vivid illustrations from Whimsical Designs by CJ, Vanessa has done just that. This book is a creation of a magical adventure in which every child could imagine themselves being a part of.

              Her creative journey doesn’t start or end with creating children’s books. Vanessa is a creator at heart. She has been in the industry of event styling and planning for over 10 years. She has collaborated with some of the top event stylist and planners in the Philadelphia Area. She has been working in the Human Services field for the past 15 years with a focus on building strong children, families and communities.  It is her hope that this book may be a staple in the beginning stages of learning for many children just as it was for her very own.
